We really got lucky with finding this house to rent. It has been so fun to have a yard and all of our
neighbors are super nice. The school is only two blocks away and we are really enjoying the slow pace of small town living.
Amber and Glenn came down for a little visit so we all tried out some of the
attractions up at the ski hill.
One thing that Whitefish is not lacking in is an abundance of nature.
There are trails and beutiful views in every direction.
This was the beginning of a new way of life for us.
We pretty much rode bikes everyday all summer long, I'm not sure what we ever did
before that. Both Nayvee and Banks picked it up so fast. So to anyone wondering
about the tiny push bikes with no peddles....DO IT! Banks can pretty much keep up with me and
does all kinds of tricks. I'm sure he will have absolutely have no problem with
riding a two wheeler next summer.
We headed up to Canada for all the July first celebrations, which also ment we could make
it to another very important occasion, Bodie graduating from high school!!!
My sisiter in law's family is in the funeral home business which is pretty handy
when you need a limo....especially cause this limo deserves to have
a few happy moments too:)
aw....the Raymond parade, such tradition!
We came back down to the states of course for the 4th of July
and had a fun filled day of pancake breakfast, alpine slides, and 2 firework shows
at the Taylors and the Fairbanks!
Living 25 minutes from a national park definietly has its perks
The kids loved having a truly hot summer! The weather here in the summer is
amazing, almost no wind and sunshine almost everyday...I'll let you know how the winter goes
rumor has it, they are pretty long.
This is the little town where John's dentist office is located. it's about
15 minutes from our house and has a very hometown feeling.
We now know that the parade is a pretty big deal, so i'm sure we'll be putting a
float in next year.
Inside the national park is a very famous road called the "Going to the Sun"
it is really narrow and curvy but it is seriously right on the side of the mountain.
There was so much snow this year that it didn't open until we were well into summer.
The annual ZoBell family holiday was just as fun as ever!
20 years and counting and I still can't wait until next year:)
